About Company

Our client is a healthcare institution in Canberra, Australia, that provides patient treatment with specialized health science and an online healthcare consultant as well. It uses Salse Cloud primarily for patient referral management.


Project Challenges

The client requested that some form fields only display when their dependent fields are selected. For example, the "customer name" field should only be seen when the "customer ID" field is selected. In addition, there were too many fields on one form, so it took more scrolling time and was difficult to navigate.

Solutions

For the solution, we created a custom object to track multiple payments of different types named Payment. That payment would be able to track different payment groups, whether it was an insurance payment or a patient payment.

  • When the user chooses "insurance" as the payment type, only the insurance lookup field will appear.

  • When the user chooses "patient" as the payment type, only the insurance lookup field will appear. 

With dynamic forms, we can migrate the fields and sections from existing record pages as individual components. Now our clients could get only the fields and sections that they wanted.

The user-friendly and efficient layout made for a pleasant experience for our client.
